my old business partner has just done a neck reset on a levin guitar. its coming up for sale as the owner needs tools. its a small bodied guitar oo with a ebony finger board . the headstock is not a slot head so assume its not very old. maybe 50 or so . l have no idea of its value first l have seen. about a 8 out of ten . any idea.

Not that big, but close. 45 cm wide (17.7") and 8 cm deep.

Old Levin parlors are cool little guitars but usually better prewar made, though there are striking samples made later than that.

l have looked at the ones pictured here. chances of me finding one in Canada is very slight. but l; still have lots of relatives all over danmark . l am going to contact them maybe one of my cousins can find one that wont break the bank . this little one is in great shape and l didn't pay to much for it. but l can imagine just like some of the American guitars l have the early ones would be better. To get a new guitar of the same quality as some of the guitars I have from Germany and Sweden I'd have to spend a lot more money. l have a jeff sigurdson it cost $6000 US brand new. So these well-made European guitars are definitely good "bang for your buck".
