this changes on occasion as if they dont sound right for delta blues l give them to one of my older boys. or if its really nice and l dont want it to leave the family l give it to one of them . only on the basis if l feel like playing one of them l do.

theres maybell, several regals from 1900 to 1930, 1930s dobro ,del vechio built , faux harmony resonator with martello name on it , , bjarton , classical made in finland , lyon and healy , fenton weils . stromberg viosenet , harmony made to celebrate 1936 olympics , harmony with strat head stock which sounds real raw , made during the time they were making fenders acoustic guitars for them . otwin from 1950 bought from old business partner . and one lonely tiesco .

Cool stuff, Oldguy. Thanks for sharing. A lot of non European guitars there but I really enjoyed them. I don't know exactly why but I'm crazy about the prewar instruments and always had an special devotion for the Chicago makes of that period... and you have a nice bunch of them! Lovely collection.

thank you when l started this time l was determined only to pickup what l would play. years ago l would grab stuff by name only and ended up with more than l should have but it did stock a store . l got more than 20 years out of it . as to german or other guitars from over there its not to common here. l live in the mountains where country is big . l personally dont care for it but different strokes as is said.

greetings im wondering abuot the small acoustic with the decorative soundboard and the rope like binding in the top photo can you give me any information about make, year,luthier,country of origin or websites for these guitars. i ask because i brought one this morning in melbourne australia and the logo was so faded i couldnt make it out i think it was being used as a hawian cheers steeler

Hi Steeler. Oldguy don't pop around here too often. But it's very likely to be a mid '30s Chicago make. Probably by Harmony or Regal. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure it's the green oval logo is regal. like snap said, chicago 1930s.
