The Havanna sounds like a good one, but not my style. 385 mm wide is about my limit for flat-tops I tend to favor flat-tops between 345 and 380 mm wide. let's say I'm more a 00 guy than anything else. I like your parlors better.

The '46 sounds gutsy. I like it. I know a friend that would die for it. He loves to play slide on parlors and that one growls perfectly well for that playing style. What model is it? No. 60 or 62? Maple top?

The one I really like is the other parlor in that same clip. That's exactly my style and the kind of sweet sound I look for from parlors.

Snap, it's a model 62, tell your buddy about it then!
And I have a 1907 Levin parlor that I might sell or trade, my collection of Levin are based on the fact that I want one from each year regardless of model, haha!
I've got two 1907's so...
That might be something for you then..

Lacquercracks, a 1960's solid body electric guitar of some kind would be fun if you have any..!!
Playable but ugly is cool..

Hey bluesyswede. I have two sixties solidbodies which is meant to be sold soon... the Eko Cobra I ( around 69-70) and the Hoshino (Ibanez) from around 62. If interested drop me a line. They both need a little work which is easy to do.

Eko:

has a crack in the pickguard and need to have the input jack soldered. I has a very comfy and fast neck
Hoshino:

bridge should be moved a bit back for better intonation and a grounding should be made. all pots , knobs and the four pickups are functioning ok. looks cool right ?

That Ibanez is rather tempting!!
I have 2 Kawai guitar from the 1960's, this Ibanez would look great next to them I guess..

I'll think about it!!

Cool, but I'm looking for a solidbody to play, sometimes I do play electric in a Hound Dog Taylor-ish band called BJ & The Hound Dogs..

Image

We play a bit too loud for an archtop(I've tried with many different guitars) and there's just feedback and I hate that!!

http://www.johaneliasson.com/bjhd.htm

Since I play open chords I must have a bunch of different solids to play on and I only have two!!!
That's gotta change!!

For some odd reason I'm very fond of brown guitars.. Any brown solid electric?? :D
Or a brown 1930's flat/archtop, beat up and not too nice condition!
